Do u wanna find yourself ? If yes, then serve, be kind, show compassion and lose yourself in the service of others.

This is in reference to http://www.youthkiawaaz.com/

Is there Goodness left in this world ? Do you feel that people are becoming more selfish and evil, that there are few good souls left, and that everything is not as it once was ?

We often question the disappearance of humanity when our news feeds are flooded (literally and figuratively) with violence, atrocities, and disaster. It’s no wonder that dejection or desensitization are almost reflex reactions. But every now and then, we see a glimmer of hope, a beacon of faith in the sea of uncertainty and selfishness.

We all work for ourselves, but there are few among us who are not satisfied with living a self-centered life. These people work with grit and determination to bring about a change in our society - in whatever way possible.

I believe that nothing unites people quite like a common tragedy, a fact that has been proven several times over the years, and now most recently, in the deluge of Chennai.

A  number of legendary tales of bravery and heroism emerged from the flooded and battered capital of Tamil Nadu. These aren't just stories of exceptionally proficient relief operations that are being carried out by the armed forces of India, but common citizens from in and around the city who have been instrumental in aiding those, however they can, in deep water. Chennai has been fighting back like a braveheart as the Indian Army, the Indian Air Force, and the NDRF take charge in making the historic port city stand on its feet again.

Good Samaritans from all over the country contributed to the Chennai flood relief in their own small (or big) ways possible. We may share grieve and stand by the people of Chennai who have shown immense strength till now. But there are people who went out of the blue and did something which many would think a thousand times.

Ram Kashyap, resident of Bangalore is one such person. This guy did something that not many would dare to do. He had decided to wade across the troubled waters to help the citizens of Chennai, quite literally.
He shuttled between Bangalore and Chennai with the relief materials to provide respite to the affected persons stranded in Chennai.

On the first trip on December 3, he carried materials like food, containers, paper cups, umbrella and raincoat. In order to collect all the materials he wrote a Facebook post informing people about the plan.

Thousands responded to his plea for help and proved that humanity still prevailed and people still cared. His post went viral. More than 1200 people contacted him and more than 250 donors volunteered to help people in Chennai by helping him collect all the essentials. Kashyap said that a lot of people donated cooked food, packaged foods, sanitary pads, diapers, medicines and other things. Ram Kashyap and his group had created 14 drop-off points in Bengaluru where people came and dropped their donations off. He and his friends made their bank account details public so that people could contribute for their fuel expenses and other logistics for their drive to Chennai.

Chennai came back to normal. They managed to cover all the areas in Chennai. For a change we saw Chennai as a very different place.
1. Hindu, Muslim, Christians all were helping each other proving that humanity is the biggest religion.
2. More than people who were affected the volunteers mainly the youth were more in number.
Nobody had time for their family. They all had only one thing in common to say." I am helping here, there will be somebody helping my family too".
3. Girls and boys working the whole night together without girls being insecure. The guys took care that the girls were safe.

4. BANGALORE was like an official partner to help the city. Trucks and trucks of things were sent. There were many who traveled from Bangalore to Chennai to help them. Big Salute to them.
5. Parents who let their kids work no matter what time it was.
6. Before the government could react the youth finished the job itself.

It is motivating and inspiring to see a city like this. Let what ever come we will be strong. Let's continue this.

Such strong-willed souls inspire us endlessly. The smallest effort can make a huge impact and Ram Kashyap has set an example for this. Kudos to you Ram for reinforcing our belief in goodness. What Ram Kashyap did inspires us that we don't need to have a hefty bank balance to help people in need. We can start anywhere. We just need to be willing to lend a helping hand to a soul in need. People like Ram prove that our world is still a beautiful place to live in.

I just don't understand Y ppl look down upon others in d name of religion.. Islam also teaches love n peace..
I don't think terrorists have any religion..
Every religion teaches us to spread love, kindness, universal brotherhood..
4me all religions r different paths that lead to the same destination..
I don't consider Hinduism superior to other religions coz acceptance is what makes India great..Unity in Integrity.. Everyone is different.. V all have different perspectives.. Let's understand, love n respect r differences.. Y fight in d name of religion? Religions were meant to unite us n not to divide us..
We don't need to prove others inferior so as to prove ourselves superior coz at the end of the day, we won't take r bank balance to the graveyard. V'l just carry our sanskaars n karmic accounts so lets focus on what really matters..

Maut ko yaad rakhe..

I read something which was written on an auto & it got me thinking..The exact line was "Maut ko yaad rakhe.."
I found it beautiful..It made me introspect n raised a series of questions..If  we remember death everyday then our life would be lovely.. Whenever we are about to do something then we can pause for a while & introspect that "If my soul had to leave this body today then will I behave in a similar fashion..If today were the last day of my life then will I get angry on someone..What would we take along with us to the graveyard - Jaguar, Bank balance, those branded clothes..? Kya le jayenge hum sath me ? It would be just our sanskaars & our karmic accounts..
Kyu ladd rahe ho Bhai ? Tum bhi Marne wale ho..Hum bhi Marne wale hai..Aaj se 80-90yrs me humme se kitne log jeevit rahenge ?
Y not focus on the things that really matter..? Remembering death would make our life more meaningful..It will make us focus on our purpose coz its no use living the same day over & over again & calling it a life..
How would u like to be remembered ? What would we like to hear in our funeral speech ? Would we do what we are about to do if today were the last day of our lives ? If the answer is No then we need to change something..
So, lets always remember death & lets do what we would love to receive back..:)

THERE WOULD BE A HOLE IN CREATION IF U DIDN'T EXIST !!!!

You are unique!

Think what a remarkable, unduplicatable, and miraculous thing it is to be you! Of all the people who have come and gone on the earth, since the beginning of time, not ONE of them is like YOU!

No one who has ever lived or is to come has had your combination of abilities, talents, appearance, friends, acquaintances, burdens, sorrows and opportunities.
No one's hair grows exactly the way yours does. No one's finger prints are like yours. No one has the same combination of secret inside jokes and family expressions that you know.

The few people who laugh at all the same things you do, don't sneeze the way you do. No one prays about exactly the same concerns as you do. No one is loved by the same combination of people that love you - NO ONE!
No one before, no one to come. YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY UNIQUE!

Enjoy that uniqueness. You do not have to pretend in order to seem more like someone else. You weren't meant to be like someone else. You do not have to lie to conceal the parts of you that are not like what you see in anyone else.

You were meant to be different. Nowhere ever in all of history will the same things be going on in anyone's mind, soul and spirit as are going on in yours right now.
If you did not exist, there would be a hole in creation, a gap in history, something missing from the plan for humankind.

Treasure your uniqueness. It is a gift given only to you. Enjoy it and share it!
No one can reach out to others in the same way that you can. No one can speak your words. No one can convey your meanings. No one can comfort with your kind of comfort. No one can bring your kind of understanding to another person.

No one can be cheerful and lighthearted and joyous in your way. No one can smile your smile. No one else can bring the whole unique impact of you to another human being.

Share your uniqueness. Let it be free to flow out among your family and friends and people you meet in the rush and clutter of living wherever you are. That gift of yourself was given to you to enjoy and share. Give yourself away!

See it! Receive it! Let it tickle you! Let it inform you and nudge you and inspire you! YOU ARE UNIQUE!

That Thing called Embrace aka Hug..:)

I'm not into all this Valentine Day stuff as of now but wanted to write a piece today. Socha behti ganga me haath dho le.. Aaj sunne me aa rha hai ki Hug Day hai.. Though I'm not much experienced in this field but I love watching hugs aka embraces and all in the movies like most of us do.. I love the feel uski.. Hugs I guess are of various types..

1. The Incomplete One-Arm Hug : When you are too lazy to raise the other arm for a decent hug.

2. The Complete Friend Hug : When you can properly hug someone..

3. The Waist & Neck Hold Hug : When u you are either with that person , you missed them a lot or
you  are just super close friends.

4. The Hug from Behind : When you surprise a person with a hug or you are with that person..

5. Squeeze to Death Bear Hug : where
you are either the squeezer or dying one. When you meet a long lost buddy after a long time toh wo jo bear hug hota hai..mast hota hai by God.. Dekhne walo ko lagta hai k wo log saans kaise le rhe ya dono me se bus ek hi bachega..

6. The Lifting Hug - where
you just wanna hug tighter..

7. The Running Hug : where
you miss or love the other..

8. The Long Hug : when
you just don't ever want to let go..

9. When you are going on a journey or when you study in another city n come back home in the holidays toh wo jaadu ki jhappi from your parents & loved ones..wo maa ka pyaar..feels amazing yaar..

10. One of my favorites is when we meet our close friends/best friends/loved ones toh wo wala if genuine is cute n lovely..& the feeling I guess would be amazing or out of the world like someone who cares for
you wali or having a glimpse of the awesome memories (time files) created together coz Friends r always special..wo melting into the arms waali feeling..aaye haaye..

11. In our office when the farewells were done properly tab bhi wo farewell hugs were nice..& if the friendship was good then
you could notice a few tears at the corner of the eyes symbolizing memories of the wonderful times spent together..miss those days..

12. When
you rare not well or depressed over something tab if any of your friends just comes n gives you that jaadu ki jhappi instead of saying anything then that would be the best medicine anyone could give n the feeling would be out of the world..coz when we are feeling low then we don't need advice as all of us know what we need to do. We just need love n unconditional acceptance..

13. Wo formality wale hugs eg. politicians wale..jab unhe kisi ko zabardasti gale lagana padta hoga logo n media ko dikhaane ko ya koi kaam nikalwaane ko..

P.S. But sometimes we need simple hugs to set things right n make people feel special or to tell them "Hey, I really care for
you..You mean the world to me or I value you / I love you.." or "Hey, you are special n you have been sent on this beautiful earth to make it a better more wonderful place to live in..Value yourself n don't feel like you are not important..You are awesome just the  way you are.. A hug delights and warms and charms, that must be why God gave us arms..
